TEACHER - LIZ JOHNSON

Liz Johnson is a musician from Little Rock, Arkansas. She has spent most of her life playing instruments and singing. After years of classical lessons she decided to write her own music.

Students of Rock will understand everything about their instrument. From it's history and original intention upon discovery, to how contemporary artists use it to create a modern sound. This fosters a "want to" attitude towards practice, play and performance. They will also focus on the contemporary songs they choose, as a backdrop to learn about song structure and how music affects and is affected by culture.

Liz sings and plays the piano for the Winston Family Orchestra, sings and plays bass for Hector Faceplant.
She and her friends run God Kabob Records and is an award-winning composer.
